What brand did you get? Who did you buy it from?

I got a Ryobi 40V HP 21" Self Propelled AWD Cross Cut, if not the top of the line then close to it.

I bought it at Home Depot since it was cheaper with the veteran discount than I could get from Amazon.

A major deciding factor was that I was in desperate need of a mower as the grass was getting longer and our HOA frowns on letting goats graze.

We're about an hour north of Tyler. We barely have codes for building. My HOA is my wife, haha.

Our Greenworks Twin motor push mower just died. It was going to cost more for the replacement motor than to buy the exact same mower new. Smh

I got my Honda tuned up for much less. It will handle the small area near the house. Everything else is natural or gets knocked down a few times a year by the flail.

How long did that mower last? What was the replacement cost. I've yet to replace a piece of equipment for a motor being bad.

We had the mower for about 5 years. It was used for maybe 3 of those. The part alone was $200. Labor was minimum of $99. New mower is $279. Warranty was 1 or 2 years, iirc.

Sorry Arly. Thought it was relevant since, while electrics have less maintenance (which I love), repairs are typically more expensive.

I think you’re right on the first part of that, ZTR -> ZT. But I always thought Zero Steer was that weird configuration of ZTR with a steering wheel.

I just hopped of my ZTR, two hours of mowing this evening, and roughly 100 hours per year. I don’t know why anyone would want a steering wheel on a ZTR, or how you’d even drive such a mess.
