To be fair they don't market it as taking care of your vegetable garden , it is designed to broadly sow feed crops and grasses. You'll have to till your tomato plot some other way.

I'd presume one of the good game crops would be corn. Corn stubble is a real PITA for small tractors. I churn it under with a tiller. Maybe the Plotmaster is geared more toward the alphalfa and clover types of game crops.

I don't really know anything about game crops. We are over run with deer on Prudence Island and they are considered long legged rats that foster high rates of Lyme Disease. We definitely don't feed the buggers and encourage bow and arrow hunters to cull them vigorously (no gun hunting on the island). A couple of years ago we had about 800 of the creatures on an 8 sq mile island which was absurd. You had to stop in the road for them to cross and they ate every living plant except invasive species. Bambi is not a warm fuzzy image here and I imagine we think of them the way some of you think of gophers or praire dogs or whatever varmint inhabits your neighborhood. We'd love to have a mountain lion or wolf on the island but then there is the issue of small children to worry about.
