What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

He's just a hater...Were accustomed to his type here...The glare from those 7 rings makes it hard for him to see clearly.

In sports, the great equalizer is results. And in sports, results are easy to see. Opinions are a dime a dozen. Opinions do not count - unless you are Stephen A. Smith and ESPN is willing to pay you $6 million a year. Results count.

Winning 6 Super Bowls (and going to 9) with New England could be chalked up to playing for a dynasty. Similar to all the World Series rings won by Yankees and Celtics players.

But leaving the dynasty and winning a Super Bowl for a franchise with the worst winning percentage in all of major sports - well - that is special. No question.

Football is such a different sport. You only play offense or defense. Not both as in all other sports. So, by definition, your impact on winning/losing is diluted. That makes accomplishments like going to 10 Super Bowls even more amazing.

That痴 not completely accurate..In football as with all other team sports, you play both offense and defense at the same time. The offensive line is defending the pocket so the QB can do his thing. ..Quite often the safety will pick a pass and turn it into 6, Maybe a defensive lineman dislodges a ball then pounces on it. ..Maybe the QB throws a pick and now is the last line of D to stop a run back..

All competent defenses are coached to play the ball in the air or dislodge the ball from ball carrier using peanut punch, gator roll tackle, second man in, etc. ultimately to take the ball and score.

Interesting, the best team in net turnovers was the Super Bowl winner.

Yep, they are fast, and relentless to the ball.

Defenses are pairing down to lighter, faster rosters. The 300 pound defensive lineman is getting to be fewer and fewer.

That depends on who they have for a QB...A guy like Brady who is not mobile..needs the 300 pounders protecting the pocket. A guy like Mahomes who has legs can get away with speed over girth. The biggest problem with a guy like Mahomes, is that the mobile QBs lifespan in the NFL is historically short. ..Sooner than later one of the big 275 pound guys hits them at full speed and it痴 lights out. Blow out knees, broken arms, concussions, ACLs ...Can you just imagine the impact of someone like JJ Watt hitting you at full speed and you didn稚 see it coming....

College football is all about offense.

Even in the SEC.

With all due respect to the SEC, the Pro game shifts back towards D somewhat, though.
D linemen are going away from the run stuffing 340lb nose tackle type to a quick footed up the field 275lb taller type, especially D-ends.
