Which he is not...
Even someone with little or no talent can develop skills if they do something long enough...throw in high degrees of natural athletic ability, a fierce competitive spirit with undying dedication along with the intelligence to fully fathom the game...you get a guy like Brady...
Once a guy like Brady masters the position every second of every game is just adding polish...but to maintain a high level of success requires a strong supporting cast...
Brady acted the opportunist by signing with the Bucs...he was well aware the Bucs of the year before was not near as bad as a 5-11 season considering how close a lot of those losses were and the fact was the Bucs were able to stay in most of those games until the end was because the receiving corps and the arm of Jameis Winston...the same arm that ended up throwing 30 interceptions that cost the Bucs a bunch of those losses...it was an ideal opening and Brady lunged for it... and every Buc fan everywhere is happy he did...!
You think he was a opportunist going to Tampa...Maybe he was ...smart to do so. Seeing what could be done there....Hmmmm.... Clearly you are a butt hurt Brady hater...But again..Tell us about all those smarter than him and their 7 rings..We are still waiting...

The fact is intelligence (IQ/Wonderlic scores etc...) does not necessarily equate to success in the NFL (or any other sport)...
Oh and another thing...you say Brady is the smartest player in the NFL (your words) but you have some doubt that he might not have done any homework on figuring out where he could make the biggest impact without having to wait on a team that was not so close to turning it around and lacking just the right spark...?
...Brady...Smartest man in football...And 7 rings to back that up... Make a impact....He makes a impact everywhere he goes..A big one at that.

But just in case you can't count to 7...Its all the fingers..and your thumb on one hand..then 2 more fingers on your other hand... Most NFL guys have trouble with that as well so don't feel alone.
