When I ran HS defense I used to keep my D line right on the line, no getting upfield in the pocket since HS is mostly RPO. When I schemed a kid like him, I would take my fastest D end and turn him loose from the field side and chase him to the boundary side....’specially on suspected pass situations. Or lightning a corner on the nickel

Biggest problem was all the dropped balls by KC and the defensive penalties, take those away and the game would have been much closer. Bucs probably still win as they played with much more heart and enthusiasm after the first quarter. KC sacking Brady and making the goal line stand was impressive and looked like a good start for KC. After that it was over.

Oh well, We'll get it next year!

When he is under center, he has a minimum of 4 plays he has called in the huddle. If the first option is a no, he knows it instantly. He can read most defense the instant they line up. And is capable of adjusting his call just as fast. Most QBs in the league are lucky if they can progress to the second option if things go bad...Look at Newton for example. If his first read was bad...all he could do is try and run. .. TB is a first round HOF entry. Simply amazing what he has done in his career. G.O.A.T.
