My 4 favorite football teams....
1 - My "hometown" team pro team of Philly
2 - My alama mater in college
2 - Whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys
3 - Whoever is playing Alabama
Ironcially enough, Tom Laundry and Bear Bryant I couldn't help but not respect those men when I was growing up watching football.
I remember Hurts in college under Saban (sp?). I personally thought he got the biggest screwover as a college QB as I'd ever seen given how far he had helped the team in Alabama.
Got stuck watching New England game last night with my dad, but from what I saw, Hurts didn't look to bad last night.
Think the reason why I like the eagles so much is when my father was in South East Asia for a couple of tours, I spent the weekends at my uncles and his 4 boys, and they were all Eagles fans. Also had a uncle who worked in Philly and we'd go down to the games at the vet and he'd give us the grand tours around town. Kind of "imprinted" on me as a kid I guess. That said, Philly fans can be nothing more than a bunch of a holes at the stadium.
At the end of the day, pro sports don't put a penny into my pocket, and I paid my alma mater to attend school, but either way, win or lose in sports on the teams I follow, it really doesn't make me more happy or more mad by the next day.
Some of these football forums and the people are just plain nuts IMO LOL
THAT's what I forgot about him. I just remember being impressed with his attitude and felt he did the right thing by going to Oklahoma.Despite all that, he never pouted or complained in public. He did the right thing and was always ready to play. He got Alabama to another playoff by being ready to play.
You hit the nail on the head.Go Redskins!
Whoops
Go WFT or is it
WTF?
And Wentz was supposed to be the Godsend QBAnother issue with Hurts is locally on sports talk radio, they built him up as “the next Russell Wilson”. I think Doug Petersen may have said it, not sure. He very well could be, but that’s an incredible bar to set for him.
I agree, but they had way too much money into Wentz at the time and didn't want egg on thier face.So just so you know where this Eagles fan stands on the QBs, I am in the camp that they should have traded Wentz after the Super Bowl, not Foles.
If Alshon Jeffrey caught that pass thrown from Foles, we probably would have gone to another Super Bowl
