Learned something new, first time doing, and thought I'd pass along the advice...

Could not watch the start of the Eagles 49'ers game due to community group.

So I record the game, leave my phone at home so no way I could check it.

If you record a football game, don't leave it on the same channel the game is on and don't turn on the TV to get to the recording at the beginning of the game if the game hasn't already ended, because if you're unlucky enough, TV comes on and there's the score on the TV

Well, down 14 to 6, I guess the Eagles have them right where they want them

Things you have to realize:

Eagles played 3 HIGH LEVEL opponents in only 13 days! Thats exhausting
Eagles were without a starting linebacker
Eagles were without a starting pro-bowl caliber tight end

Excuses? Yes, but some “excuses” are legitimate.
But man that was a beat down.

Who's going to the Bowl? Ask Vegas. All this gambling and sports betting is becoming rampant and it's ruining both college and pro football.

Curious as to what will happen there as well...

When I accidently saw it was 14-6 going into half time, I actually did think they had them right where they wanted them. Yes, it was a beatdown, but I'd always rather have a team with a couple of losses.

Curious as to the addition of Leonard at LB will help their defense. From what I've seen all year on the games I could watch, it doesn't remind me of Philly's past defensive groups.

Took me forever to figure out what "draft kings" was. I mean, they're advertising gambling on TV for the NFL games.

So, I actually downloaded one of the Fan Duel or whatever apps, and was gonna throw $50 on Alabama +6.5 vs GA, but it's location prohibited, not allowed in Fla. I figure smarter guys than me could disable to location feature and submit the bet, but wasn't worth my effort. Not a gambler, but when a heard Bama +6.5; I figured I'd happily throw money at that.

Happy to see the Bengals beat the Jags tonight with a backup QB from our local University of Washington. Fairly good game considering it (in the end) was the battle of the backup QBs.

Ive played coached and watched too much football.
If I were Jeffery Lurie, I’d hire Frank Reich immediately.
The Eagles defense is bad, their offense is talented, but the play calling is horrible.

For those who follow the Eagles from afar, you may not realize they have 2 rookie coordinators (offense & defense) Their 2 previous coordinators are now head coaches.
I don’t think either one of the new coordinators is particularly talented. The previous 2 are doing fairly well.

I also think they are suffering from the exhausting 3 games in 13 days against 3 excellent teams.
The 49ers and the Cowboys have 3 losses, too. The Chiefs look awfully beat up now as well.

Eagles need to re-hire Frank Reich.

They absolutely do.

That last play to Kelce and the throw back was amazing. But the chiefs were offside.

The coach complaing about the call was poor. Replay showed it was the correct call.

Well, I sure would. Much easier & more comfortable to play in front of 60K fans cheering you on than screaming hostilities at you!

I was trying to be sarcastic. Doesn’t work well online!

I’m headed to the Cotton Bowl to watch Mizzou. Never been there. Looking forward to the trip.
