Rotary Cutter what size rotary cutter?

I have a 1991 Kubota L2950 with a LA450 FEL 30HP engine , pto 26HP. i was looking at the kingkutters. what is a good size rotary cutter for the L2950 and what size gearbox 40 HP or 60HP?

You can use a 60" standard duty cutter with no problems, but your 3PH must be able to handle 700 lbs lifting capacity.

As far as gearbox size, since your PTO HP is 65% of the rated cutter gearboox HP (the 40 HP box), I'd feel very safe with the 40 HP box.

I'm with Roy. The 5' cutter with the 40 HP gearbox should work out fine..
