If I ran with the rear blade directly behind my tractor - I would need a ten or twelve foot blade - to cover both tires. REMEMBER - whatever angle you decide to run your blade - you will loose considerable, in plowed width. I have the tires set at the widest setting on my Kubota - 80" outside to outside.

You can figure this out using a sheet of graph paper. This is important to know prior to purchase.

When I angle my 96" blade - it will clear a 75" path - on the average. Heavier snow - narrower path. Lighter snow - wider path. I change the angle based upon the type of snow, snow depth & traction.

The idea being - clear the widest possible path. AND - still keep the tractor going in a, more or less, straight line.

I have a JD 2025r and use a 6’ rear blade. Your tractor is quite a bit bigger, I’d go with the 7 footer for sure.
