What should I be on?

Thanks everybody for the information!

Maybe I'm behind on standard equipment, but I'd insist on reverse, shaft drive, and 4 stroke. My Yamaha has held up pretty well, all considered. I put a 2" trailer ball on the back and even yank some trailers around with it.

It's taken a back burner to a golf cart lately, though. I have a dump bed, a trailer hitch, a ladder rack, a chain saw mount, scabbard with Winchester and a saw sharpener on board. Jump in and go. Even my lame dog has taken a liking to a cruise in the outback with it...

I hear you with the golf cart thing. We have two, they are great. But 4x4 golf carts and utility vehicles are very expensive new and used, so that leaves to the 2x4s, which have less power and not 4x4, so not as much speed when I want/need it, and easier to get stuck. But nice thought.

I have really been looking for good deals on 660 Grizzlys. There are a few good ones out there right now. I have also begun looking at JD Bucks again. I still keep my eye out for others, especially manual Hondas and Yamahas. What I do like about the Buck, is I'd like to give my Deere dealer as much business as possible, and I'm a Deere fan, and I like the looks. I think they look better then the pre-re-badged Bombardiers. But I am still on the lookout for any good deals from any brands.

I cant think of one brand (outside of cheap import chinese junk) that has major problems. Do what I do ask everyone, shop around, then just get what you want. Most brands are good, you know what you want. Get your best deal and dont look back.

The Bucks are a dead product for JD. Not sure why JD wanted in that market. Didn't go well for JD. Can anyone remember who made the Buck for JD? Bombidier or Artic Cat? Someone else?

It is Bombardier as I said in a previous post. The fact that they are dead does not scare me, as there are plenty of parts for them and for the exact same Bombs. I think they look better than Bombs and I like JD, especially the green and yellow ones. The name model for the Bombs was the Traxter. They were then taken to the JDs and rebadges with different outer front end, decals, and paint.

I have a pair of 2006 660 camo grizzlys. Both are stock with a little over 1000 miles. No problems so far. Very comfortable ride and plenty of power. I pull a Polar Sport 1500HD trailer regularly and put a Moose plow on one this past fall.

From what I read and heard, the Bucks were not a very reliable product. They are one of the few brands I would avoid.

Hmm, I have heard the opposite, but I will keep my eyes and ears open on any problems. I guess there just aren't enough out there for me to have heard anything bad. Thanks though. I will look into it.

Also, I found a good deal on a Suzuki KQ 700, can anyone share experiences with a King Quad?

Again, thanks everyone for their input, it is all greatly appreciated.:)

We have had great luck with our Bombardier Traxter XT (the Buck in original skin). Our neighbor has a JD Buck as well and they use it on their grape farm a lot and have had good luck with it. Bombardier did a good job on the Traxter but that is the only model I have any experience with from them.
