A contractor was out working on my place.
I told them the ground was soft!

Two-three hours later and a tow truck bill they finally had extracted this puppy. Almost turned it over on my building in the process!/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

It must be worse than it looks... I would have thought that between the bucket pushing down and back, and pulling with the backhoe, he could extract that puppy!

With all the rain we have had the ground was so soft that there was no firm ground to push on, and with the front end hidden in the muck the hoe was not enough to drag it out.

I just could not bieleve that he even got close to this area. I would not have gone with in ten feet of this and my tractor is 4wd! /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gifMuch less with a two wheel drive unit.

I am just greatful that they did not hit the house. With the tow truck pulling the operator came very close to flipping this on its side. And no seat belt either!

Though I was very tempted to chew them, the poor operator could not stop shaking. I figured that he had suffered enough.

During the extraction he realized it was about to flip and took corrective action and just barely saved it. After that he was white as a sheet for a while so I could hardly kick him while he was down.

With that said, I won't be letting these turkeys any were near my property again.
