Wow like whole concept in picture, trailer and "rock" basket....

Dale

It is pretty handy only having to handle the rocks by hand once. I have either 6 or 8 of those half barrels. I load them through the summer then borrow my brothers dump trailer to haul them away or put them on my equipment trailer to haul away as shown.

What did you do for the hydraulics? What size cylinder and how did you figure the geometry? I have a wagon from them as well, really like it, especially the 4 wheels so it can be detached easily.

Their site specs the cylinder as a 24" stroke up to 4" bore (i used 2" bore). I bought a self contained pump/reservoir unit off amazon, deep cycle battery, custom hoses and adapter fittings from TSC. Probably had $300-350 in the hydraulics worst case. I can go a couple days cycling the pump under a heavy load 6-8 times per day with no battery issues. Never ran the battery down. Lastly i fabbed the battery and pump unit brackets from steel angle and flat stock.

Sure did. I posted my picture so he could get an idea of designing and building his own but then I saw where he didn't want to build his own.

I guess your right. I just saw the 25 hp part. Just now looked up his tractor specs - not enough size and weight to pull much.

Other option might be one of the <$500 trailers from harbor freight - and then adding a sheet of plywood for a bed, and wood sidewalls if/when needed.

Not a whole lot of ready made options between ATV and larger road/agriculture trailers.

Otherwise the closest things I've seen are (beyond the previously mentioned) would be an EZ Trail compact wagon, a dump trailer by Berkelmans Welding & Manufacturing...

Though given the size of tractor an ATV trailer would probably have more than enough load carrying capacity (gravel can weight 1.5-2 tons per yard).... which means some of those ATV trailers may very well be able to carry more than can be easily stopped by a SCUT even if they don't have the desired volume with sidewalls raised/in place.

This is my farm wagon. I purchased brand new Horst 10-ton running gear about eight years ago. I found a DIY web site and built the box. It's bigger than you need but Horst has all sizes. If you are into a DIY project.
