It's hard to beat a made in the USA mag light XL 50 small led flash light. They are reasonably priced and durable and have a great warranty. As far as I know Mag light is the only or one of the only companies still making flashlights in the U.S. I'm so happy that we still have this quality product made in USA. I'll bet everyone on here has had at least 10 cheap China versions of this same flashlight that has failed and then thrown in the trash. I have about five or six of these mag lights and have had them for several years now. I use them all regularly and they all still work as new. Had one problem with one of them the factory sent me a replacement part within a week and I was back in business. and that was after two years of use on that particular one.

Wife got me a Kobalt snake a couple years ago. It came with rechargeable battery with built in charger, a snake attachment which I never use and a separate battery pack that uses regular batteries ( I haven't used that either so far). It is very bright with adjustable beam.
For some reason they no longer carry it. I guess it worked too well and no one came back for seconds. It sold for about $25 and as low as about $9 at one point. I saw one guy trying to sell on Amazon for $149 which is ridiculous even if it is a very good light I wont pay that much for a flashlight.

Man cheap LED lights just seem to be everywhere now

I had a bunch of different ones to sell under the tool tent this summer. Tiny 3.5 mini lights and then there were some that were about the size of 2 C cell maglight but only took 3 AAA batteries

And these two were really popular...a 3W Cree XPE bulb 3 position headlamp with a zoom focus...bicyclists liked that one a lot and then the Versa stick light was my fav. It has 6 wicked bright LED lights along the side and a magnetic base which is pretty cool plus a pocket clip like a pen has. Even came with the batteries too.

Sold out of them all too :confused2:

I hope can we get more. :D

For small, powerful and convenient personal lights I'm using LED Lenser P-7 and 7.2
Not rechargeable [4 AAA], but a pretty serviceable product, and a good warranty.
I have one and really like it, keep it next to me in the bedroom along with a three cell Maglite and a Princeton Tec headlamp.

Princeton Tec Apex headlamp. I'd rather have hands free,,,throwback to my cave exploring days. I have a headlamp that is brighter but always grab the Apex.
I have three Princeton Tec Quads. Awesome tool.

X2 on the headlamp. I picked up a couple of these from lowes on sale for less than $25. I use it all the time.. this is my extra.

It has an adjustable feature to change the angle of where the light shines which is very useful.

My favourite is probably my Pelican Stealthlite. Made in USA. Waterproof, dustproof, electrically insulated and has a hardhat clip for handsfree

I got a bunch of MagLEDS. 3 or 4 of the 2aa, and a 3C. The 3c doubles as a club! but as a flashlight, its really lacking compared to whats out there. I notice they are quickly trying to launch new models (the ML300LX in 3c looks promising, but its "only" 611 lumens) , but they have yet to come out with a real high lumen "thrower".

I upgraded my old streamlight light box to LED. image-1687402112.jpg Before image-3306468540.jpg After image-3295897277.jpg The LED head throws about 5 times the light at half the power draw as the old bulb. This thing is supposed to go 600 yards. I don't have anywhere 600 yards long, but it lights up my neighbors mail box 300 yards away. It is 3 times as bright as my other beloved streamlight. I have had plenty of cheap lights none of which lasted very long. I have 20 year old streamlights that still work. They are expensive, but worth it IMO.
