no Cell phone holder or glove box
cup holder too shallow
oil filter is exposed
safety switch under hydro pedal is exposed
radiator seems to collect debris more than it should
I like my tractor and a lot of thought was put into it, but it's not perfect

Darn Fordson E27n!

It sits so close to the near side wall, that I need to clamber over the mounted snow plow to get to the fuel shut off. That added to the too tall exhaust stack that must be removed (hot I may add) before the old gal can be backed in too close to that wall are just about more than a man should put up with.

Now don't get me started on the hand crank start, or that I have to climb up over the draw bar and seat to get to the operators station to pour fuel into the tank. ....

Oh The pains I put up with. I do like the Ford blue color with orange wheels, And the rhythmic pulses of that four cylinder engine at a 300 rpm idle is just about the cat's pajamas.

I guess Ill put up with her, as long as she'll have me.

Completing tractor/implement PTO connection.
There have been many long threads with multiple good suggestions regarding this subject, but it's still a huge PITA.

I like my Massey 1758 tractor. But I have to nominate how to change the dashboard display from Km/Hr to Miles per Hour as one of the most user UNFRIENDLY things I've seen on a tractor.

Here are the steps to changes from Km/Hr to Miles per Hour on my 1758:

1) Turn ignition key off and leave it off for at least 1 minute.
2) Remove the fuse cover below the steering wheel. Remove the 5 amp bottom right hand side fuse.
3) Turn the ignition key switch on but do not start the engine.
4) Press the "Display Select Switch" on the dash one time.
5) Begin pressing this same switch enough times until you see "Unit Set" on the display.
6) Long press the "Display Select switch" for 2 seconds until you hear the Buzzer go off and release.
7) Wait about 2 seconds for the Display to say "Unit Set"
8) Turn the ignition switch off.
9) Re-install the fuse.

Presto! In just 9 easy steps (plus a fuse pull) it now reads miles per hour instead of Km/hr.

Does your tractor have something you would also consider to be user unfriendly?

And just how often do you do this?

My gripe? The hour meter is WAYYY too low.

John Deere 2030, Collar shift transmission. You have to come to a complete stop to shift gears or ranges. But it's 44 years old

Same for my tractor non syncro manual trans -
oh also it takes 2 vertical steps up to get in (on) the tractor after every stop that requires getting off and back on and also I can only get on from the left side.

Kubota L3200 - Cable operated PTO lever on right side. I got tired of trying to keep it adjusted so it would fully disengage the PTO, so I just took off the floor plate under the seat, and now reach down and pull the PTO lever on the tranny. The flaky side mount lever control could be eliminated if they just installed a push/pull plunger directly on the transmission.

Unless it needs a park regen you don稚 hit the button unless you need to stop the auto regen. Keep the rpms above 1800-2000 and keep working it will complete its regen. Only time you have to activate the regen is if the light is flashing, then you have to do a park regen.

That's great....if you can see it....which is the point.......add on all the dust build up from cutting.....and........there yah...go dash display still sucks!

Yes I understand your point, mine was completely different.

I've posted before that the digital dash on my B2650 is not nearly as easy to read as the analog dash on my B2620. The B2620 you can read at a glance while working. The B2650 I have to really stare at to get a reading on the engine temp and fuel level, especially in sunlight.

And..........the ride (B2650) while mowing is much rougher than the ride on the B2620. Even both have R4 tires (industrial).... Maybe the difference is in suggested tire pressures or the difference between a floating deck (B2620) versus the ground engaging deck on the B2650.
