Yeah, motorcyles can be cold. I was headed to my parent's house one Friday night, about 2/3 of the way there when it started snowing. Just after that the shifter fell off so I put a pair of vise grips on it, shifted into third, got it rolling and ran the last 30 miles in 3rd gear.
On the way home Sunday night I froze my tail off. I got home and just as I was getting into the shower to get warmed back up an elderly lady knocked on my door; she had a flat tire and wondered if I could help. She had a trunk full of used tires and I found myself running back and forth to a nearby service station with various tires strapped to the bike, trying to find one which would work. At least I got warmed up.
