So I haven't done it yet, but I guess it's finally time to drop off the MMM and dig out the blower.... think I'm finally done with the mower! (And the wood's all in for the winter, bulkhead closed & sealed off...) Amazing how busy it gets in the fall around here, getting ready for winter.

starting to test glow plugs. starting in cold is harder than should be.
for GC2400 the iseki glow plugs are part # 6252809M1
agco wants 50$ each, if I find any bad going this route

attached is the iseki engine manual procedures for the 2010 GC2400. same procedures PROBABLY apply to all GC series, part numbers (found under electrical section of agco parts lookup) most likely different.

yup, the #3 (rearmost) glow plug is bad. order placed for set of 3. will replace all 3 keep 2 as spares.
used continuity method then ohm method. first 2 ok continuity and were within the second test 2ohm range.
rearmost failed continuity so did not test further.
silver lining, gonna gain 2 usable glow pugs :)

Haven't checked mine in a while...should probably do that, as the ol girl's getting on in age -- now at 1140 hrs. (Hey Ray -- STILL with the original battery!)

Did finally drop the MMM off, put that away and got the blower out, but still have the FEL on -- much better for dealing with the --again-- 3" of heavy wet, slushy crap that we got overnight and early this AM. Hope it's done now!

I also bit the bullet and ordered two rear wheels --just the rubber tire/wheel, mind you-- for the MMM. Mine are worn down to being flat across the rolling surface and only about 4" in diameter now, but wow, they want $155 EACH for those suckers! Even the parts guy at the dealership said he couldn't figure out where MF gets their prices from....

Well, it was the spring of 2009 when I bought that MMM, used with only 6 hours on it, so it has been about 15 years. Not bad in the big picture, I guess -- I've only replaced the blades once, everything else still original, even the belt.

BTW, for those interested -- N4557A is now, finally, back in the air! (Apologies for crappy pic)

Was inspired by a member on here with his roof he installed from an ezgo golf cart. Took it a little further and built a front part of a cab. Gonna do soft sides for the rest of it.

5" of fluffy global warming on ground. ground still too soggy to run a blower or truck plow blade. will use FEL shortly to touch up stuff on customers driveways.
