It must be the angle of the picture that makes it look like you have more than 2" spacers. Either that or the body of the 2400 is narrower then the 1725. In the image the tires seem to stick out further from the fenders than mine.

If you had larger spacers I was going to ask you how you made them work with the deck.
when weather clears up I'll measure the 2400, the 1723 and the 1725.
never really noticed that you may be right and I am curious

I went three inch spacers (BROTEC) on my GC 1715, don't really envision ever having MM mower.... Made tractor a lot more stable....

I noticed big difference even with the 2" ones. I have some short very steep side of road mowing to do so they were worth the money for me.

Like I said, it could just be an illusion created by the camera angle.

measuring top flat before the down/flare 2010 GC2400 is 36.5 inches and 2020 GC1723 is 37 inches.
so the 1723 1/2 inch wider there.
due to implements attached could not measure bottom of flare across but flare angle and vertical sections looks to be the same. I would expect total width to also be that 1/2 inch.

power washed and serviced the woods tiller, hauled it to storage area and tarped it. working on power washing and serving the mid mount mower today. to store the MMM I have to pull the snow blower (they both sit on the same 10x4 pallet with a 20x20 tarp when not in use) up here. it was serviced upon storage but will also get serviced over next 5 days.

Broke my mower deck.

Wondering if this is something the dealer can fix or if I need to find someone that does mobile welding.

Dealer is going to try to sell you deck $$$$$

Welder on wheels a lot less....

Get welder and learn to weld will be a lifesaver for ever....

been there done that. 2 different decks.
luckily the 300$ of wheel and axle were in place OR...yeah...OR ....found
pull axle.
torch it until glowing red.
put something in axle hole and bend it until aligned.
don't worry if its 1/8" out of place level wise between the 4 wheels.
grind it and weld the **** out of it. use a stick not a mig.
mig will fail.
ask me why I know this........

My left rear wheel when into an unexpected hole and the guide wheel slammed into the ground. The hit damn near jarred the teeth outa my head 😵

It does not appear the the flat metal is bent or twisted, just broke the weld.

I'm not going to buy a welder and learn how to weld.

I have contacted the dealer to see if he can fix or what he suggests.

I've also contacted a local traveling welder to get an estimate. Estimate really doesn't matter, it can't be more than a new deck, can it?

Will see what happens. I'm not in a big hurry, deck is off for the winter and I don't need it fixed till spring.
