yup. got to make hard choices sometimes.
I actually like the R4 tires. just when they fail me it literally can be very dangerous to me.
I may invest in small wheel spacers to offset the slightly narrower tire but I need to test stability before spending more of wifes money.
forgot to mention along with clay I, since in Maine, have a lot of pre-ledge/ledge sharp rocks which is why I specifically sought out 10 ply.
if I was only able to find, say, 6 ply I may have made different choices.

sigh now onto fronts. so far only thing I see are 4 ply in this size so....got to make careful choices.

also, fwiw, I use a 1532 often which has ag tires so can see how they worked in my scenarios. while the difference between a 1532 and a gc24000 are massive how tires act in certain situations can be tracked and compared.

I wanna say I did run across some 6ply front at one point. Can't remember the tread pattern for the life of me though

2wd_tried_get_struck.jpg

tried to get stuck today in mud. 2wd bucket on (no mid mower or anything) and did not touch diff lock.
ruts in garden run 4-10 inches deep. these tires plowed through.
org r4 tires would need 4wd.
tomorrow after we get the 3.5+ inches of rain gonna test bucket on tilling in 2wd.

Yay! I now get to be part of this huge thread. There's one like this over in the classic truck forum I frequent.
.
Day late, but I moved a bunch of rounds into the barn within hours of getting my gc1725m.
