What else do you do with forks besides lift pallets?

May have already posted this but I use the forks to lift the front end of my Z turn to do deck/blade maintenance.

I used to use forks to lift my lawn mowers,,
but, one year, my wife bought me a Sky Hook for my birthday,,
the Sky Hook is FAR better than forks,,,

Years ago when we were moving, it was hard to get all the boxes loaded into the truck because of steps and a small porch. It was a pain until we put a big pallet on a tractor with forks and slid it up near the back porch. We loaded things on it and forked over to the truck where it was easy to unload. Saved us a load of time and lots of lifting and carrying. I had forgotten all about it.

Removed a piece of heavy concrete culvert, without damaging it. Stuck the forks in the hole at the end and off the trailer came.

Felled a decent sized fir tree and limbed it this past weekend. Started at the 'bottom' of the tree, set the forks on the ground in float position and scooped up the branches. Made quick work cleaning up the big stuff and moving it to the burn pile to burn later in the fall.

Set it on the dolly in the horse barn:

When I brush hog pasture that was logged and reclaimed bush, I run the pallet forks curled back and the frame as low as possible to the ground..
This pushes everything over in the direction I'm going and seems to help the JD 60" brush hog mulch it up better..

It also scalps ant hills for a smoother go over.. Some hills can be 4' diameter and 18" high... When you hover over them for a small bit with the mower it really messes up there day..
