Helped my friend/neighbor unload the old, then load a new fridge into his bus a few years ago:

This was my older heavy homemade set, now I have the Artillian ones that are much lighter so I can lift more.

Wooden forks did the job today.

Sold my MMM to a fellow TBN member in Arkansas and needed to move my it from storage in the icy woods, to inside my cargo van.
Not owning a set of forks, I had to fabricate a set out of wood.Today was the test run and they did great. Easily lifted
the mower with it positioned perpendicular to the bucket. Use one HD strap to secure them to the bucket, placed a scrap
piece on pressed board over the forks, slid the pallet on, P1040954.jpgP1040950.jpgP1040953.JPGP1040956.jpgP1040957.jpgP1040946.jpgP1040947.jpgand off we went. Posted some photos below.

Got to try out my forks today. I'm not sure exactly why this is, but there's a substantial gap between the bottom of my QA and the bottom of the plate on the forks. Tell me this is not normal, because they've already popped off while stacking a couple logs. <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/attachments/406340-what-do-you-do-your-image-1435817224-jpg"/> This pic was taken from the front of the tractor for reference.

For those who may encounter this thread with interest in Titan forks, I'll supply a brief update. Several emails have been made with no resolution reached. Titan has offered $30 to have someone weld a "shim" to correct their obvious flaw. For reference, I live in SE Pa where $30 can barely get you a meal, let alone someone to weld anything. The response was underwhelming and not at all indicative of a company interested in customer support.

Given that I do not have the time nor the inclination to deal with this, my offer was simple - full refund or a new frame. The guy I talked with actually had to get approval for this. Needless to say, Titan will be removed from consideration for my future backhoe purchase.

Wow I'm glad you posted. I was under the impression Titan was a good company to deal with from my experience with them. What a hassle. Are they refund/returning for you?

If you paid by credit card you can dispute the payment to Titan. Credit card companies are usually on your side
and work to have the seller make things right or Titan does not get paid a penny for your new forks.
If you call the CC company, they usually withdraw payment right away until you are happy.
