What do I give up?

As I'm starting to do my shopping and comparing, I've run across a MT122 with FEL and MMM for a bump over $13k. Don't know if it is a lot orphan, being passed over for the MT125, but it seems like the dealer wants to move it. If mowing and light loaded work is to be its focus, how much capability am I giving up for the lesser horsepower tractor?

Not sure that's all that great of a price. A quick scan of tractorhouse shows 125s with loaders and mowers for 13 to 15.

If you can get them lower, maybe. I don't remember all the differences though.

What Diggin it said... That's pretty much a 'normal' price... No big discount. The only real difference between them is the HP. All the other specs are nearly the same. I would try and get the dealer to lower the price or throw in some attachments or service / filters.

The LS MT122 will for sure only pull a 4ft tiller, and a 4ft rotary cutter. If you are using the mid mount mower, it will not pull the mower as fast. It is still a really good tractor, but just like all tractors, it has to be worked within it's limits.
