Sold my little Dodge D 50 pickup.
Sorta sad to see it go.
Took me back to the day in December 1989 when I Bought it new .
It's hard to believe 19 years passed so quickly .
Seems like it was only yesterday.

Dug out a couple stumps which turned into a big mud hole but they had to go now. And moved the branches that came off the trees to the burn pile. Lots of fun digging in the mud.

Today, I checked out the flea markets here and as usual I always find something that I don't have or just need more of the same. Sat around with my friends telling lies and looking at all the people that are looking at the same junk that we already looked at.
I usually do the flea markets on Wed mornings and Sat, and Sunday.

Finished fencing 315' feet of 4"x4" posts and 1"x6" rails.
Stacked more fire wood, graded rough driveway to pasture.
Painted and hung more storm windows, moved manure and shavings and feed.

Oh, hung out with the kids, had a few beer with friends and started apple pies for thanksgiving, a couple of glasses of wine with the wife and enjoyed life.

loaded up the bucket with walnuts and dumped them at the fence line, over, and over, and over and over....... anybody want some walnuts

split some more wood I think I have around 30 face cord done within the past few weeks. Also bush hogged some more for my neighbors as a land reclaim project from some overgrowth.

I started wiring the new house a few months ago. Today, I worked on that project some more. I have most of the small wiring run now. By small I mean the wires that run to lighting fixtures and wall outlets. I spent most of today anchoring the wires with staples close to the outlet boxes. It's hard to imagine just how many outlet boxes, and how many staples it takes to anchor all those wires. I made good progress, but I'm not finished. It should take about another day or so to wrap it up. It was a rainy day in SC, so I figured I may as well find something to do inside today.

Welded a gate for a friend, He needs it for his cow loading dock.

Actually, it was yesterday, went bowhunting today, saw some deer in a distance.

I ripped up my front yard with a box blade with scarifiers, then smoothed it out without the scarifiers, then raked it all, then spread grass seed. I'm actually getting really close to having the front of my house not look like a construction zone.
