Lets see 4' x 6' x 3-4" = 24 square feet at 3" = 6 cu. ft. x 145 pounds/cu. ft= so 870+ pounds,
so not bad for a small tractor

I had a 4' x 10' pad about 4-5" thick I removed a few months ago and my MT240 would just lift it enough with pallet forks to drag it across the ground. Once I broke it into 2 pieces it lifted it fine.
I had the neighbor kid come over and use a pry to assist the lift. Once it lifted it would hold it. Later when I had it moved I was able to lift it, RPMs way up and it moved about 3 inches a minute!

4' x 6' x 4", using concrete estimator websites, I figured closer to 1200 lbs.

Stumps? I got a few.

Taproot left, trunk right ... just about the same diameter. Luckily it broke off with some twisting.

Second one wasn't quite as bad, but this third one is about to stump me. Hole's dug, but it ain't budging. Had to come in for a snack, but when I go back out I may take a saw to hack off some roots.

But then, there's this .....

Edit some time later ....

"but this third one is about to stump me. Hole's dug, but it ain't budging. Had to come in for a snack, but when I go back out I may take a saw to hack off some roots."

It's out. It tried to beat me, but I hung in there. Had to dig a hole big enough to bury a cow. No tap root at all, but it had a maze of roots to make those Aussie Funnel spiders proud. Three or four roots about the size of my upper arm about 4" below the surface. Had to cut those with a recip saw. Not sure even one of those ripper jaws would have done much.

Does it obstruct your view at all?

well that’s a pretty good question and something I had never really considered before u asked !
a few minutes ago I went out to sit in the tractor , I would say that toolbox will have absolutely no effect on my view for operating the tractor. The tractor sat outside overnight so the windows are pretty fogged up right now but later today when the windows are clear I will attempt to take a picture showing the view from inside the cab.

Ordered the toolbox from a local New Holland dealer, they have a few different toolboxs available and I chose this one because it wouldn’t stick out as far as a bigger box so not very likely to get caught on something and wrecked.

The toolbox was $25 and the bracket was another $19.00 , I could have pretty easily made my own bracket but an extra $19 didn’t seem to bad. The latch on the lid has sort of a friction fit latch and was a little more difficult to open than I preferred so a few strokes with a file got it working the way I like.

Only negative possibly I see is if you take your loader off for something else, then the TB stays with it. Probably very rare.

yes if the loader is removed the toolbox stays with the loader, so far the only time I ever removed the loader was for servicing the tractor.

I’m now trying to figure out a decent way to mount a toolbox somewhere on the rear of the tractor so I would have a handier place to put stuff when hooking and unhooking stuff.
