I've had the chains froze down so hard in the mud that it wanted to rotate the tractor front end up.
It took several minutes of rocking back and forth to get her freed up.

It has gotten cold here in Texas, but not freeze your tractor to the ground cold luckily.

Before it got cold, I cleaned out the coolers on my LS MT342HC. They are laid out differently then the XR4140HC were.

I use the radiator genie to clean them. It works great.

Like I always do, I made a video of it if you want to see what I did: How I Super Clean the Radiators on My Tractors - YouTube

How many others on here use the radiator genie? You like it?

In the distant past, I used a blow out tool with a very long extension on it that I bent 90 degrees to clean tractor coolers. But for $40, these work much better.

I have the set, it does work pretty good here at home. Problem I had was I only have a small 3 gal portable compressor to use it where I brushhog so only got to clean the radiator 3 times before it was out of air. I recently got a 20V cordless leaf blower that I'm going to try next time. I may have to heat and modify the end so it's closer to a 90 degree turn.

I agree it uses a LOT of air. I have a 30 gal air compressor and it keeps the pump kicking in almost all the time. If I had a small air compressor I would probably use water to clean it then dry it out with the air compressor.

.

I use the IPA Air Comb. Similar to the genie and it works well to blow out the coolers and filters. I would recommend either IMO.

I have a set for radiators, coils, etc. on two tractors and a Kubota ZT. The RG works great for blowing out air filters too.

I would think that someone would make an air compressor that would mount on a tractor. A lot of tractors doing dirty work mowing. Some of the larger machines that work in dirt have fans that reverse to blow out the dirt.

The motor on the low end HF mixer is pure Chinesium, circa 1980s. It's a piece of crap. And I say that as someone who generally likes HF.

If you mix in the bucket, just make sure you have a water hose handy and a good place to rinse it out after the project.

My HF mixer still works but seen where someone that had motor go out made it run on pto shaft! So think about it! One idea I thought of was change the electric motor for a hydraulic motor then weld it to skid steer quick connect! With it mounted on FEL just mix and dump where wanted!

I think that the length of that tool is too short I like to be farther away from the dust! And I use it in baler and other equipment! So I just took a 4ft piece of copper 1/2 inch water pipe sweat a ball valve to it and air fitting to end ! Costs about $20 to make end blow nice just hammer it flat and bend the end at 90° with pliers! Its great to not be right next to the dust especially when baling hay some of that stuff will kill you!
