Reclaimed another 5 acre field on a long term project. The field was cleared by first running a rotary cutter over to cut the grass/brush to reduce the fire danger, then using the 3 pt. Dougherty TurboSaw to lay all the cedar and acadia down, then finally using the Wicked Twin to haul everything off the field to some handy ditches.

Here is a before shot.

After the rotary cutter:

After the TurboSaw:

And a competed shot:

Here is the approximate run time on each piece of equipment. Stopping every 2.5 hours or so to clean the radiator.

Rotary cutter: 3 hours
TurboSaw: 5 hours
Wicked Twin: 7 hours

Dealer ordered.

Hope they are right ones. I didn稚 get to talk with him (sent email) and will query as to warranty. He delivered my tractor 1 year ago tomorrow.

Yes, it should be under warranty and ask them for both sides. This happened to me also and the new design is much stronger.

Old style that broke:

Description:

At ambient temperature, first start in morning or later after having cooled, with throttle at minimum, 1300 or so: FEL joystick is responsive, moving bucket easily, up, down, curl, dump.
After running for a while, mowing, whatever, temperature gauge at mid point, throttle down to minimum 1300 or so: FEL joystick is NOT responsive. Bucket moves very little up or curl, almost not enough to notice movement. Down and dump are OK. Throttling up to 1800 or more restores operation.

Problem?

Not problem?

Could be a worn pump, relieve valve letting flow by, or to low a viscosity fluid.
A pressure gauge and flow meter could verify what is getting to the remotes.

Are you expecting full hydro capability at at minimal pump output? Does your spec tell you to expect that. No hydro expertise here, but i don’t. I could be wrong, but have always suspected there is an optimal operating rpm range, likely near PTO speed for a diesel and figure trying to operate lower than that is likely as detrimental as operating too high. When I had my Kioti, it was beneficial to run about 2k to smooth out the backhoe swing. Never figured another advantage. Save fuel maybe? Would fuel savings balance out the additional stress on engine?
What does the manual say?

250 hours on the clock and just shy of two years, I'd hope nothing internal is worn. Fluid is Traveller's Premium.

Not really expecting anything. Just noticing the difference in moving when starting out, vs. parking after use. Wondering if fluid is weaker when hot and if so, would it cause other problems.
