What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Funny thing is I looked at the middle pin that keeps them together and thought the way the ring was bent to go around bar was a good idea. Guess not. Both Kioti and Case had a keeper chain or wire so not to lose them.
Will have to look at a temp fix. Anyone actually replace the link? Doubt my dealer has one, but will check.

On my Mitsubishi when I lost one I decided to make two new ones that were stronger than original ones since I was always using bigger attachments than the tractor was I made for but they are simple all thread adjusters but 500hrs later they still work to keep lower arms off tires!

This is just a temp replacement, but am pleased to say it has heldup well to about 3 hours bush hogging today.



Didn’t have appropriate pins with holes so used bolts. Will be a pain to change, but OK for now.
Ordered replacement from dealer today. No idea when I’ll get it, he’s still waiting for parts for my #3 rear remote.

Are you going to get original replacement for it I know you have a wait time and shipping costs there!

And I wanted to ask you on your flail mower does it vibrate a lot I ordered the 195 and it seems to vibrate more than it should or more than I was expecting since all I read about it they usually vibrate less than a bush hog!

Yes, vibration with the flail. How could there not? Not as much as the rotary though.

Yes it shakes whole tractor lot more than rotary mower does and shakes side to side I'm thinking new pto shaft that came with it may be out of balance!

WoW, none of mine been that bad, something not right. Mine just vibe a bit at the mower.

Well today tried flail mower again cant bring it to running speed only can get it to about 400rpm before just terrible shaking I then rechecked belts and grease and looked to see it was not missing any hammers and seen that it looks like the bearing that should be in the lower pulley is actually out between the pulley and side of unit
