I am addicted to trees and shrubs in my yard. Bought some more Japanese Maples and a conifer to add to the collection:

- Acer oliverianum 'Hot Blonde' Golden
- Acer palmatum 'Mikawa yatsubusa Seedling' Dwarf Japanese Maple
- Cupressus arizonica 'Blue Ice' Blue Arizona Cypress

Picked up two burn barrels for the camp. Very hard to find good ones in are area but was finally able to locate them.
Funny, theres a company near me that has 1000’s of plastic, metal and those large caged containers on the property. It seems like they could never find enough people to buy that many barrels

I love stuff that's packed in scrap metal. Keep us posted.
I used the MechMaxx today and it works great. They did leave one step out of instruction manual though. Installation is straightforward and I feel stupid in hindsight.
Thankfully I didn't have to cut the PTO shaft because it was a perfect fit. The included shaft has a slip clutch end that goes to stump grinder side. The tractor side was easy, simply line splines up and it has a spring loaded locking button that locks onto the detent groove. The clutch side I tried everything...it wouldn't go all the way on. I finally got a file thinking there must be a burr or something. That's when I noticed it was shipped with two bolts in it. Remove bolts, slide on, bolts back and tighten them.
There are two locking pins you remove and it allows grinder to "float". You start on right side of stump facing the back and I took it easy about 2"/pass. It digs 6" max so last pass was digging lots of dirt.
I'd highly recommend it for the money. I'll be glad when my camera comes because my neck sure is sore!

Does this move right and left while chewing up root? Or do you have to move tractor
My tractor is hydrostatic drive which it needs to be. It's really easy to use but a camera is a must. I'll probably fabricate something simple to help keep wood chips from occasionally flying up. Small clear tarp would work.
