I go and check out a collector car auction in a nearby town, mostly classic cars but about anything shows up. 2007 Ram Quad Cab, 3/4 ton, 49,000 miles, 5.9 Cummins, sold for a little under $36,000. Very nice condition but not worth that much in my opinion.

Another 70k in CDs at almost 6%. Trying to stay semi liquid going into the recession

Reliving my teenage years. Had a GT as my very first car.

are value priced. I guess that's why people like them.

Most buyer will go that route if the marketing convinces them it's "safer". All marketing.

I worked at a service station in 1970 with a guy who had a '66 Fairlane, black on black hardtop, 427 side oiler built by Holman & Moody, narrowed rear, tubbed. He was the street king around here! I always thought they were beautiful cars.

I bought $7,500 more of my daughter’s college tuition.
One more semester and her University can kiss my @ss forever!
My son has graduated and not one year too soon.

Hope all that college didn't undo all the good you taught her during her formative years!
