Went up to the Priefert Outlet and picked up a 60' Premier panel round pen. Each 12' panel weighs 90 lbs. Hopefully our 1500 lb horses won't tear it up.
They won't if you keep em moving...and tired enough to be good when resting. lol
I bet that cost a pretty penny! How many rails?

My wife insisted I build her a round pen with 14 - 12’ five rail powder river panels. They have spent more time stacked in a pile leaning on a tree than they were ever assembled in the arena. A heck of a lot more time.

Not cheap but about 75% of the price going through a dealer. They are 6 rail, 64" tall. The Economy panels only weigh 58 lbs each and are 62" tall. I used some as a cross fence between turnouts. They already tore some of them up fighting across them, even bent the top rail by kicking it. The little pony that did that is a 17.3 hand Dutch Warmblood.

That's what I thought 130x32= +4k sq ft.
Unfortunately the R value on foam is minimal compared with conventional batts.
That is incorrect. R value per inch is higher for foam (generally r-5 to r6 per inch) vs r-3.5ish for batt insulation. We do weatherization where I work and install many thousands of square feet of insulation every year.

Yeah, but R-value per $ is low

The best thing with spray foam is the sealing and draft stopping a good job does. With the closed cell there is no air or moisture migration. It works much better then the "R" value suggests.

I bought a couple thousand dollars worth of parts today..
All my suppliers AND the factories are shut down from this coming Monday until January 5th.!!

I’ve had several people contact me saying they were pulling their pumps and shipping them to me..
I’d rather have the parts and not need them, than need the parts and not have them..

An 8-oz tube of Lucas white lithium grease to lightly lube wedge slide surfaces and around the sides of the splitting beam on my log splitter. It appears many folks just use oil; Iron and Oak recommends grease. I will try it out and keep an eye out for gunk build-up, and adjust as needed.

My Timberwolf was delivered from the factory with grease on the splitting beam.
