I bought propane (delivered) $3.98 a gallon
Wow sorry to see propane prices have gone crazy again ! or maybe that’s just in California prices ? Believe I paid $1.399 here in Wisconsin a couple months ago delivered. 144.20 gallons came to $201.74 , I see it has jumped to $1.829 delivered today

I always wait until they tell me the order is ready.
Though last order form Lowes was a mess and I ended up ordering from Home Depot (who hire people who can't wrap orders on purpose I think).
They should compensate you for the hassle, but they would probably waste your time on that too,
I would've preferred to know the order was ready, but had only so much of a window to go get the stuff. Worst case, I'd go find the flashing myself. And pay for it again...it's not that expensive.

But I didn't anticipate that their inventory is so far off that they have none when it says 54 pieces. In all fairness, they later did admit that their inventory counts are way off.

I had been looking at log splitters for awhile now. Really wanted to get a Wolfe Ridge, but then senses kicked in and I realized my use here in Florida is just not that great, so decided to get a Countyline 25t from Tractor Supply.

Well the Countyline went on sale at Tractor Supply on BF sale for $450 off regular price of $1450, on sale for 1k. Only issue is all stores in area sold out (or didn’t have them to begin with). Kept checking to see if they would become available and low and behold the local store changed inventory to 1 unit. I placed the order later in the evening for store pickup. Next morning, I had an email saying order was canceled….errrr.

But the story doesn’t end there, as the manager of the store called a little later and left me a voice message saying they did indeed have one in stock, but it had a bad tire that wouldn’t hold air, and was really grimy from sitting in the warehouse, but come take a look and they would make a deal on it as is. So, I went to take a look, and it was as described, but they offered it to me at 50% off sale price, so went home with a new unused Countyline 25t log splitter for $500 plus tax. They even threw in a replacement tire. I took it home and put a ratchet strap on the tire and hit it with the air compressor and got the tire seated, and spent 10 minutes with a rag and cleaner and she looked as good as any new model would look. Next day the tire was flat, so refilled the tire, whacked it with a rubber mallet multiple times and drove around the yard. Been a week and it is still holding air, and I have split a lot of wood with it now. Overall, getting a new splitter for $500 was quite the good deal. Very pleased. Thanks store manager and Tractor Supply.
