I got 2 pressure washers and 2 jumping jack compactors from an auction. The compactors allegedly run, I haven’t tested them yet. One of the washers was trying to run but I stopped the test for lack of water and the second one definitely needs the carb worked on.

What's really amazing is it turns from light gray to yellow when used!
It's a coincidence you mention this. My first hard hat actually was yellow in 1966. The Bell System didn't adopt the blue & yellow stripe theme until 1969.

I bought 25+ feet of flashings to seal off the gap between a wall and a roof. Ordered them on line from Lowe's, who had 54 12 footers in stock according their web site. Wanted to avoid carrying the stuff through the store so went for curbside pickup.

Drove the 70+ miles to the store about 20 hours later. The order wasn't ready. Some 45 minutes later I was told they were out of stock.

So technically I didn't buy anything...but I'm told I'll get a refund. And on the positive side, it's not supposed to snow until Monday, giving me time to find this stuff somewhere else. Maybe even install the flashing.

I always wait until they tell me the order is ready.
Though last order form Lowes was a mess and I ended up ordering from Home Depot (who hire people who can't wrap orders on purpose I think).
They should compensate you for the hassle, but they would probably waste your time on that too,

I bought a new humidifer. The 8 year-old one conveniently died on good Friday, so I was able to get a sale price.

It's the same model as the old one so I can use the supply of expensive filters I have on hand. Even on sale, it cost 50% more than the old unit did 8 years ago.

It's made in the US, so I don't mind paying a bit more.
