Unfortunately, there is a season for taking racoons, other than for being a pest on your own property (my case). If'n I was harvesting them for fur (too early in the season for a good pelt) I would need to do so in season and within trapping regs (strict). As for the meat, I believe that wild game meat cannot be sold but only given away. In season the pelts can be sold. Similar to venison, it cannot be sold. Later in the winter, I do give the pelts to a friend who traps coon. Not as good as the $50 to $75 they use to bring a few years back. Too many "rather be nude than in fur" campaigners from PETA, maybe. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
