Did you lock the center differential on the Lexus? That also turns off the traction control and will make it much better in deeper stuff. If you dont lock it the computers reduce power and apply brakes when the wheels start to spin. Still not going to go through anything 25"s deep for any length.

Yes, we did everything. From lowest gear to highest gear, which actually does sometimes help.

with all that cool equipment you should get your Dad to move to snow country.

Not all of it was ours, just stuff we were using and/or that was on the property. But It would be cool to move to snow country.

Come on up to New England. Our biggest snow in a month was a couple days ago, we got 5 inches. And I talked to a friend in Presque Isle Maine yesterday, and he said they have even less snow than us...

Whacky winter, no two ways about it. I'm just waiting for one of those storms to track a bit further north and bury us instead... If I get both trucks and the tractor stuck, I'll harness up my Belgian, and let him pull us out. He's a good willing soul and real strong!
