Tractor
L3400 Hydro
Broke down Saturday and signed the papers. L3400 Hydro w/Loader and filled R4's tires. 16.4 K to my front door. Will have it Wednesday Sure is perdy. Will hate to get mud on them tires. Learned a bunch about pricing and requirements from studying this site. Will now probably bother you all with questions. And here is the first. Where will the wife now park her car?

Simple, beside (not in front of or behind) the new Kubota so she doesn't block it in! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's simple, she'll park in the garage bay that you parked in before the Kubota came home /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif and you'll learn to like it!

Tell your wife to park the car outside where it belongs !!
Thats what I did. If the car needs repaired it can go in the garage, once fixed it goes out !!

We might all hope gregt doesn't share this string of messages with his lovely bride. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

So gregt,

When are you going to tell your wife that you bought it, and it's not borrowed from a friend? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yea I guess your right. Oh well maybe she will let me use the Kubota once in a while. As to the "bought versus borrowed" response. I was warned if I did not come home Sat. with a Bill of sale I would be sleeping in the garage. The two months of assembling and reviewing spreadsheets on pricing and specs. had about done her in. Tomorrow I get the Kubota hope it snows. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Welcome to the Klub. The wives do tend to tire of all the time we spend on tractor stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Not that most should ever be expected to truly get the tools, power, equipment thing anyhow. Easy for them though, who's back is being saved? I say it sounds like you got at least two good ones.

My wife was going to leave me when I bought mine. Funny thing though, she's still here. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Needless to say the Bota is on my side of the garage and my car is in the driveway. I'm also advised I can't use it until the Family Rm., Office, Bath, Foyer, and Kitchen are remodels are complete. So I figure she has 5 more chances coming. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif She actually thinks the tractor is kind of kool, but it would take an act of Congress for her to come out and say it. So I guess I'm stuck, my Bota, my Wife, and tractor impaired Me. Wouldn't trade any of it though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Enjoy!!

ANOTHER CHESS PLAYER? CONGRATS ON THE NEW PURCHASE, let the lovely bride park where she wants to, beleive me it is much easier that way. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well the 3400 is safely in the barn now. Rigid ROPS would not fit in garage anyway. Did one victory lap around property before barning it. Later my hunting buddy came over, and with the keys safely back in the house, we returned to the barn, consumed a few cold ones and ga-ga'd at it well into the night. A beautiful beast indeed. Cant wait to kick off on a few projects. Mrs. L likes it too.
