Am looking for a welder to weld a couple of taps on a rod really small job but I don't weld thanks in advance I live in east Freetown ma

Go to a welding shop or have someone do it. I had to weld once when our welder didn't show up for work on a little stick welder and it's not exactly easy

It is with a little practice. How do I know?.. If I can do it anyone can do it. But is does take practice, and you have to live with the bad results at first. some processes take more time than others to learn.

I think I came cross wrong I don't know any welder,so I was asking if anyone no someone that can weld for me I am willing to pay for it I was looking for a private party it is just a tiny job sorry for the confusing

It's fine. May i ask are you anywhere in west Michigan. My dad does commercial kitchens and i think i could talk him into it

Another thing is if you are friends with a backyard mechanic or even know a mechanic garage they might be able to do it. Just throwing out ideas

Most muffler shops have a MIG handy. Wouldn't take but a minute if your parts were prepped.

Thanks all found someone near by most shops I called when I explained what 2 items I wanted to weld it was not worth it to them business must be bomming I guess

Try walking into one of the shops with it at lunch time. if it is that easy, they might just do it on the spot. Or morning break at 930. With a box of donuts...

There you go, Good Idea. Another idea would be to take it to a vo-tech school, and ask the instructor if one of their student's would like give it a try, and offer a small donation for supplies or something.

I had a very small job once and took it to the local privately owned muffler shop. Ten minutes later I was trying to pay them something and they said just come back when I need a muffler.

You must be thinking of a police station...lol, I don't think they weld there.

I do like the donut idea. That works in more situations than you would imagine.
