That is what I have also, the R-1's. Great tires, the only time I have to use four wheel drive is when I have over 1200# of potatoes on the front, then the rear slips a little bit for some reason. I cured that problem by building a heavy steel box for the three point and filling it with old window weights. That weighs appr 1500# filled.

We bought the L5030HSTC, but almost purchased the same tractor as you and would have been very pleased with that choice. It all came down to the HST and what the dealer had in stock at the time.
Enjoy the tractor and the goats - we are working toward goats, but in our case meat goats.
