Welp I replaced my water pump
A few days ago . Shredded about an hour . Seemed fine . Went to move some dirt for my neighbor. Started smelling antifreeze. Open the hood had water spraying everywhere. Let it cool down last night. Tore it apart today . The aftermarket water pump o got from the dealer had a paper gasket the pretty much disintegrated on me. Just got gone putting it back together this evening. Have to run to town to pick up some more distilled water to top it off . It’s a very simple job . Took all of about 15 minutes maybe 20 . I couldn’t fund the torque specks for the water pump. . Either could my local dealer .

Well I thought I had my water pump fixed . Turns out my new water pump wasn’t any good . Where the 2 pieces water pump bolts together had a bad gasket . Couldn’t tell until after I tore it apart for the second time . Called my dealer and they got me a oem water pump instead of an aftermarket. While putting the oem pump on I twisted a bolt off into the block . I was on my last set or torque sequence. Man I got lucky and had about 1/16 of an inch sticking out and was able to remove the broken bolt . Got it all back up and running yesterday. Shredded a few hours today and all was good .

This is the 3rd time the pump has been removed and a bolt broke? I would loose the torque specs and hand tighten things. Clearly the spec isnt working or the bolts where not clean.
