Does anyone know where I can find water pump bearings for a John Deere 855. I have the bearing number, have just been unable to find a vendor. Or if anyone knows of a salvage yard that specializes in compact tractors.

If you have a bearing number, you should be able to go into any place that carries bearings (like auto parts or maybe machine shops) and get a replacement.

The water pump bearing number is WB1226102. There is also an GAG number, but they don't make it any more.
Good luck finding parts for these pumps. By the time you source the parts and then pay a machine shop to press everything off and then back on you might as well buy the new unit form JD if they have them. Many parts for these JD/Yanmar engines are extinct.
