I don't care about videos.... I only want to hear your complete story of what happened. Why won't you post that information. We need to know all the details about this situation. Do you have something to hide and that is why you don't want to give all the details. You made some strong accusations about Home Depot, but have failed to back them up with the rest of the story. If you don't want to post the details, then come out and say that and lets let this thread die a natural death.

Dusty I have said all the facts in this thread and I have a problem with a retail store not acknowledging my legit receipt. And them tell me its not in their system and I am out of luck. I have nothing to hide except I got ripped off by them. If it were you, how would feel about loosing almost $1,000 dollars? We are not rich people and don't need this from a hd store and their sad mgmt.
This thread can be closed, I will take care of this

You have said that they have your money and that you have a receipt, but you don't say how all that happened. Did you order something, prepay for it and then not get it? If that is the case, then where did it go. I can see them saying that it isn't in the system if the product were marked as delivered in error and the sale closed out. This is what I am trying to decipher. I am trying to put intelligent though into helping to resolve the problem, but without all the facts, that is impossible to do.

Try this, When I ordered windows. I was give a receipt. On it was a number. This number carried through he whole sale.
Take that number and go to the manager, tell him that you want an accounting of what and who bought what with that receipt number.
He or She should be willing to at least do that.
What do they think? You prinrted up a receipt?

dusty, like I said, I purchased $1,500 dollars of their crap.!! I could not bring 36 sheets of 3/4 Plywood home the same day.. I got a ( will call ) thing that says , and I have not!! I have to bring in the receipt when I pick up the rest of the order.
What part of that did you not get??
Why do I smell hd mgr here??
I want a mod or admin to close this thread and like I have said.. I will take care of this..

I had a big problem with HD when building my house.
Special order items had to be returned. They sat on site for almost two months waiting for Universal to pick them up. Then finally the store's truck came ad got them. Then those items sat at the store for two more months.
Spoke with the HD store people at least once a week. Finally I called the 800 number and opened a "trouble ticket" with a tracking number. I had my refund check about 4 days later.

Samething with TSC, ordered a 300 gallon spray tank, was told it would be there in 2 weeks. Kept calling mgr after 4 weeks. Finally called their 800 number opened a trouble ticket. Mgr. called next day and advised it would be there in two days.

This is the first time that you have specifically said what the problem was. I now know how to resolve the problem since I now know what the product is, however, you don't want any further advise from me, so I will put this one to bed as unresolvable. It is my opinion that the way you are handling this, there will be no resolution and you will be out your money. I am stepping aside as you have requested. Have a good day.

MrJimi, no offense, but if you've explained your problem to the people you've talked to at HD as well as you've explained the problem in this thread, it's no wonder you havn't received any satisfaction.

It sounds like;

1. You purchased 36 sheets of plywood.
2. Could not take any (all?) with you at the time of purchase.
3. Came back later, with your receipt, to pick them (the rest?) up.
4. HD people would not give you any plywood because they had no way of knowing you didn't already have them.

Is this correct?
