If this application is going to be a one time job, you should be able to find a lawn care co. that will do the application for you, for less than the cost of the new sprayer?

LeadPoison,
If you have a soil conservation office in your area, they will rent you a sprayer for next to nothing a day.

Ditto on all that farmwithjunk said. Follow his post exactly. Tee-jet is the tip to get. I like the XL in a size 02 - yellow. A small boom with XL tips will give much much better results than a boomless nozzle.

A 55 gallon sprayer would be good for an M4900. You will have to fill it once in the middle of your job.

Get two 3/4" NPTM 90 x 3/4 F banjo and two hose to 3/4 M banjo fittings for your pump connections. This will let you unhode your pump in seconds. Otherwise, removing the pump to clean and oil it (30w motor oil is fine) is much more difficult. Clip or tie wrap the banjo fitting levers so the don't open and dump your sprayer contents. This last advice comes from experience.
