Never heard of it so I looked at the reviews on Amazon. I think I'll pass.

I distrust any "professional" device that requires a smartphone app to do its job.

Seems like a good way to end up with a fancy paperweight in a few years.

The whole "currently doesn't support lath and plasters walls" statement smacks of internet of things startup. May not even take a few years.

They also haven't managed to get into the Apple App store. That says a lot about their competence and/or funding.

I did some some searching for more info on them when I first saw it advertised last year. Intriguing at first glance, but the final negative which made me disregard a Walabot completely was:
