WAC finish mowers?

Is anyone familiar w/ a rear mount finish mower marketed under brand name "WAC"?

WAC (World Agritech Corp.) finish mowers are manufactured by Ashley Brooks, Inc. in Bethel, Ohio. Been in business since 1990. I bought the 5' model several months ago for $999. Picture attached. They also had a 6' model for $1,099. They seem to be very well made.

I have the same mower........with the same low tire as in your picture /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
When I called WAC to order parts, they told me it was a private labeled Caroni mower, made in Italy. Actually mine has a sticker that says Made in Italy.
I have no complaints what so ever about this mower or WAC's parts people.

It looks like a clone to my first choice GM30-72. Which is also an excellent mower.

Actually, WAC also markets the Sicma mower in addition to the Caroni. From the looks of the picture, it is a pre 2001 model Sicma, not the Caroni.

My local dealer had a 60' that had been used once. It had been traded in by a cust. who wanted to go back to a belly mower. I picked it up for $500, so after your posts, I feel pretty good about it.

Ed,

If WAC, or International or a couple of other names they market under has a web site, I've yet to find it. Maybe someone here has seen one though. I would love to add it to my collection. Most of their web presence is from dealers' sites.
