Voltage Regulator

I have a Yanmar FX255d that i can't find the correct voltage regulator for the one it calls for does not fit. I can't find wiring diagram to wire a different one. Mine has a 4 wire plug with a single wire that goes to another box. The one the parts guys show has 5 flay spade connectors i think it would work if wired correctly i tried how one guy said and fried it. Any help would be great thanks

can you read any part numbers off you old regulator possibly begins with 12915-00000 all the ones i can find show 5 spades also can you post picture
