AirPhoto Inc out of Everett Washington did the same thing to our property in Idaho back in 2004. He came up with the framed photo, and we bought that AND a digital copy of the picture.

It was a nice marketing scheme, as all of the neighbors bought one of their place also.

We just had some property cleared...google earth doesn't update often. I'd love a pic of property, but not paying those prices.

They've done this in the boating world for a long time, too. During tournaments, the choppers fly around in the ocean snapping pics of sportfishers cruising...send proofs to owner of boat and hope a few buy it. A few buddies have done it, but it was also expensive. I guess when you own a 1-2 Million $ boat, what's another $500?

the photo they gave us was up close and personal. way better than google earth could ever do.

Mind you, i plan on getting a nicer one in a few months with the help of my friend and his new airplane.

lol Wow. I was only 12 years old when this thread was started. And it's 12 years later when I see this thread. I'm 24 now.

I didn't get the internet until I turned 13. And that was slow dialup. And a windows 98 emachines pc. Those were the days. :laughing:
