I have a Vermeer 505L baler, and found that the chains have stretched to the point where the adjusters can take up no more.
Does anyone know if a link can be taken out of the chains. Of the 5 chains, I can only find 3 available to buy. Naturally, they aren't the ones with the most slack.
I haven't removed any chains, to check. I thought I'd check here to see if anyone had already done this.
Thanks so much for your help.

Roller chain is available in every size known to man. Just find a local place that sells it. Get whatever length you need and a master link.

If the chains are loose because they are worn they need to be replaced. Baler chains are generally standard series, take what you need to a farm store and you can find a roll. You will have to cut the chain to length, but that is not a terrible job. If you do not replacement then they will cause premature wear to the sprockets. Chain is cheap, sprockets are not.

Agree, replace the chains. the chains are much cheaper than the sprockets,
