I hope this is the correct forum for this. I have a 2008 JD X304 with about 55 hours on it. Includes the deluxe brush guard and rear bagger. Serviced on time, in good shape, but does have the minor scratches that a user gets. I need to get a larger tractor, (read CUT) and want to sell this one. I'm in the San Antonio area. Does anyone know what it's worth, or where to go to find out the value? Thanks, Jim

Recently asked a JD dealer what my 425 would be worth if I were to sell it. He looked it up in a tractor "blue book". Probably you could ask your potential dealer for that info or check ebay, and John Deere's site "Machinefinder".

A new x304 lists for $3599. Yours is very low hours. The bagger is a plus or minus to some people. Dealer would probably take a couple hundred off price to sell. The brush guard adds little to no value IMHO. I would guess $2700-2800 plus a little for the bagger.
May want to verify your warranty situation. Your unit may still fall under the older 2 yr warranty plan and current units are a 4 year warranty. That will affect your price if you can still sell it with a warranty. 2008 will put ir right on the bubble.
