Value of Horse Saddles?

We just gave away tack which has been hanging in the barn since my grandfather sold the work horse sometime after WWII. Needless to say it won't be used on a horse, but the guy does all sorts of knick knacks and things. He said he'll clean the halter up and mount a mirror in it... apparently horse people love that kind of thing.

I feel better about having them for a decade without ever using them!!!

If you saw some of the things we've gotten rid of in the last 25 years... my parents retired in 2004 and started purging. They gave the family still away to the local historical society.
I didn't even know that we HAD a family still!
There was a load of old farm equipment in the barn which my father wanted to donate to the local historical center after their barn burned. He never had time so after he passed away I contacted them and we donated a pickup load of items, including but not limited to old walk behind horse drawn implements.
