I took apart my grasshopper vac and the blades are quite bent, are they supposed to be perfectly 90ｰ or should they be on a slight angle.

Take a picture - also is it not working properly? I have a trac vac and the impeller and blades (4) are pretty much on at 90* angles but if one is out "bent" you should be able to see that. I have stopped the motor on mine ingesting a chunk of wood and it didnt impact the blades at all - they are 1/4" thick steel.
