UTF vs 80W90

I wasn't planing to use UTF indefinitely, just to run it for awhile doing light duty mowing to flush it out good.
If you want to just flush it out, fill the transmission with a 60% AW46 hydraulic oil and 40% diesel fuel mix, block the tractor wheels off the ground, and run through the gears for three to five minutes at a moderate engine speed. Drain for at least one hour and then refill with the specified oil.

Drained the trans/diff today and discovered it's had ATF in it for the last 7 years. Ever thing looks good and works well so I guess I'm going to run the UTF for some spraying I have to do(just transport, no pulling) then drain and go back with 80w90.

My DF Chinese tractor has a common/combined gear transmission/ hydraulic so I use UTF with out issues. Are the gears that much different than other Chinese makes that are tranny only? I don't know.

My Shanghai 554 ( also a common sump) has been running jd 303 for years but the hydraulic pumps were whining to much in the winter months ,so switched to UTF around 2007 In all 23 years of use no problems-looking for many more.
ps. the front axle is also filled with UTF
