I found a L3700SU only 30 miles from me that I am going to look at Monday,

Its a hydro and comes with a FEL . I'm not sure which loader yet can't make out the model in the photos.

The question being its a 2010 and only has 22 hours on it.

He has it listed @ 18k , which is about 4k savings off list on a new l38 with FEL

What should I look for when kicking the tires tomorrow?

Also i was thinking about going in with a 15k offer if all seems well, Too low?

Thanks in advance.

Check the 3pt hitch. Mine jerks really bad. After 25 hours... I can't imagine there is much wear on it. It prolly has the 4 series loader. Skid steer attach is once if it has it. All in all, a nice tractor. I bought mine new, TLB, thumb, loaded rears and ssa bucket for 26k ish.

Do you have r4 or r1 tires? I'm on the fence with the pros/ cons of each

Racer, I bought mine in 2010 as well, same configuration, but with a mower, boxblade, landscape rake, metal sunshade and Kubota Ins for $20K. I havent used mine for much more than mowing and some woods clearing and have only been able to put about 65 hours on it so far. They seem to hold their value well as evidenced by his asking price of $18K. You can probably get it for less, but I think $15K is probably a bit low. I think from a buyers perspective it is a great starting point.

Just looking at some old paperwork. I priced a new 2012 L3800DT 4WD, on 4/30/12. A DT is a gear trans, so it's $1200 less than a HST. It had Ag tires, LA524 loader W/a QA 66in bucket, and L8430 3pt stabilizers.
The price W/O tax was $18,009.

Thanks for the feeback, From the photos it looks to have been stored indoors (no obvious sunburn) but i will know the story this afternoon.

I checked with barlow and they quoted me 18,600 + delivery for a hydro L3800 with 60' bucket (non q/a) , cruise and 1 rear remote

Definitely spring the extra dollars for the quick attach on the loader and if you are going to do much landscaping the bucket level guide rod is a big help. Good luck.

I got $14500 out of my 2010 L3400HST. That was a dealer trade in on a $19300 Kioti.. My L3400HST had the SSQA and a nearly new QA 66 inch bucket on it. It had about 130 hours if I remember correctly. As others have said check the 3pt with an implement on the back and try to raise it slowly and see how smooth it is. Mine was very jerky. I think my tractor would have sold for a bit more in a private party sale instead of the trade in. This was in April 2012. Keep in mind also the L3700SU is missing Cruise control, suspension seat, and a drawbar as standard on the L3400.. You could have them added by the dealer, but they were not standard. That is the only differences.. It should have the LA-463 loader on it. the LA524 was not available in 2010. Good luck

I would love to get 18,000 out of mine. I paid 18,100 plus taxes. Wish you were not so far away I would offer you a deal on my 3700 with 180 hrs.
